The Locanda della Quercia Calante is located in the Castel Giorgio countryside (in the province of Terni), a small village 18 kilometers from Orvieto, in Umbria, on the Tuscan border. In a verdant park, the holiday farm is only surrounded by quiet wooded hills and grassy glades.

How to get there
By plane
The most convenient airports are the ones in Rome (Fiumicino, 170 kilometers away and Ciampino, 150 kilometers away) and the one in Florence, 194 km away. There is also a small airport in Perugia (Sant'Egidio, 95 kilometers away) with flights arriving from London and Milan Malpensa. From any airport it is best you rent a car and follow the directions in "by car" (from Perugia, follow the directions for Assisi/Todi/Orvieto).
By train
The closest train station is in Orvieto, 18 kilometers away. You can take a cab or bus to Castel Giorgio from the station. Once in town, the holiday farm is just a kilometer away. The Locanda also has a shuttle bus service (book ahead at a fee).
By car
From the A1 Rome-Florence highway. Exit at Orvieto and follow the directions for Orvieto and then Viterbo; after about 12 kilometers, follow the arrow on the right for Castel Giorgio; the town is 5 kilometers away. From here, follow the signs to the Locanda della Quercia Calante.
